Some of the features of requirements management tools are: offers the members of a project team to access the information related to the requirements phase of the project by connecting to the internet and then entering the directory of projects. The data related to the project is placed in a web based server and so the team members can have access to this information if they enter the proper authentication codes which is usually the username and the proper password and the necessary level at which access to information is allowed. The level of access that is provided within team members differs based on the position that they hold in the organization, where in the chief has access to all the information and the other employees have access only to those information which is concerned with their part of work. The various modes of capturing of requirements that are offered by are manual mode and automatic mode and the requirements so gathered can be either altered or deleted or again created as per the needs of the user. Any requirement management tool like should be tested thoroughly so as to know how it works and whether it supports all the stages of a requirement management and if it offers complete traceability or if any additional packages of software are to be used to achieve the same.
